 Act 234: Requires that each public school website shall include the child protection toll-free hotline number operated by the LA Department of Children and Family Services.  

The number is 1-855-4LA-KIDS (1-855-452-5437) toll free 24 hours a day, 365 days a year.

·        Act 654: Requires that all public bodies make the contact information for the custodian of public records (not necessarily the identity) available to the public in a manner that will allow the public to determine the appropriate person to whom a public records request should be submitted, including placing such information on the internet. The custodian of records at FOKS is the Human Resources Coordinator.
